Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge Card

Hi, lovely sunny day today, still waiting for the flooded paddocks to clear, but we have plenty of space for the alpacas, just hoping that the grass will be ok when it resurfaces.

I have made another card for the Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge, this time using fabric. I had an idea for bunting made from calico and then stamped but this did not work out like I had imagined, so had to revert to a card design. My added fabric is narrow strips of gold ribbon to edge the wide band of gingham check stamping, with borders from the Nordic Spring Stamp Set. Country Labels No 4 provided the stamp that holds the sentiment from A Cottage Home. The flowers were stamped from You're A Doll and then cut with the die cut. Hope that you like my ideas for a New Home Card.

Thank you for visiting, hope that you are having a craft filled day. I am off to some knitting, with our own alpaca wool.

  1. Beautiful colour combo, it has a lovely country sampler feel about it :) xx

  2. I think it makes a beautiful new home card - the gold ribbon gives a nice pop of richness.
Thanks for joining the Fanatics again

  3. Love the colours you've used and the little bit of bling with the ribbon and jewels.

  4. Oh, this is so beautiful - love the colours and the way you've edged the gingham with the gold ribbon! Lovely work. Thanks so much for playing along with Waltzingmouse Fanatics!
