Collage Card for Artisant Challenge No 1

My card is designed for Aneta and MSD Challenge No 1.

Taking ideas from both the card sketch and the colourway, using Aneta's tutorial suggestions. I gathered together my various items to make up my card, with a travel theme, a map for the background edged in Black Soot Distress ink, stamped balloon, almanac background with a compass and some added liquid pearls effect, a time piece background, a map of the world, postcard, a ticket with Dream stamped on, and a die cut star and white railings.

Put them together using foam pads to get some dimension, Ta Dah !!

I am a huge Waltzingmouse Stamp Fan, and spotted the simply amazing designs entered by Artisant in the Waltzingmouse PJ Party and the Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge, which forwarded me to Aneta's super blog, where I found this tutorial and challenge. I just had to make a card. Completely different to my ususal simple stamp style, but I really enjoyed using my die cuts. Sadly there are no Marion Smith products on my card, but I intend to search out a supplier in the UK.

Thank you for visiting and hope that you enjoyed reading about my card.

Waltzingmouse Fanatics Celebration Challenge

Hi, today I am posting my card for the Waltzingmouse Fanatics First Birthday Challenge.
Firstly, a huge thank you to both Tara & Deborah for organising the Waltzingmouse Fanatics blog and challenges, Happy Anniversary/Birthday to you.

I started with the Simple Sprig stamp and die

Added Funky Flowers, a sentiment from French Country, and a line drawn flower stamped behind, mounted within Very Vintage Labels No 4. My background was stamped with PicNic and Gingham, Using the colours from the design and adding a zingy yellow and neutral grey to the colour palette for a fresh look to my card.

I went on to make a second card, using the Simple Sprig stamp and die again, this time stamped in autumn shades, and used to stamp the background for a stamped heart from Seasons of Love, Tags and sentiment from Say it Loud stamped onto Very Vintage Labels No 4. Taking my colour inspiration from the design below,  and inspired by the wedding theme to use hearts and flowers, I think that the henna on her hands is similar to the simple sprig design.  This time my card has an autumnal colouring.

Thank you for visiting, hope that you enjoyed reading about my designs.

Waltzingmouse Pajama Party

This is my post for the Waltzingmouse Stamps PJ party, and what fun I have had with the card designs.

My first card is for the doodle do challenge

Doodling over the new sentiment stamp, Hello, Happy, Thankas,  dots and lines on the Folk Art Medallion Stamp and a sketchy line border to finish, in shades of green and pink.

Card No 2 : Too Cute to Spook

I thought that some fun tags for the "Trick or Treat" goodies using a selection of the Halloween stamps
and dies

The Great Big Owl Stamp and Dies puts in an appearance on the centre tag, and the Halloween Party stamp set completes the other two, stamped in oranges, black and brown with a hint of green, all with shaded backgrounds.

Card No 3 : Old Pajamas, Christmas

The background is Pinstripe, Festive Foliage for the pine cones and bough, also using the matching die set, with the sentiment and background from Very Vintage Christmas set, all in traditional colours.

Card No 4 : Bedtime Story Sketch

I have chosen to use two of my favourite stamp sets, Ocean Bound and My Island and new to me set My Kind of Guy provided the lovely frame for the centre and the Caribbean island holiday stamped design

A real card fest today, thank you for visiting, hope that you enjoyed my designs

Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge No 25 -Sketch

Hi, this is my card for the Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge No 25, Sketch

My first thoughts were for the three round shapes, snowflakes and using the Alpine Christmas Waltzingmouse Stamp Set. I chose traditional Christmas colours, red and green and paired them with white and silver. I coloured the windows of the snowy village in using promarkers.

The sentiment is from a new Waltzingmouse set  'Tis the Season, stamped in red, a lovely flamboyant script. The snowflakes are stamped and finished using silver embossing powder, then mounted up on clear plastic mounts so that they are "mobile" and can "wobble" standing  away from the card, rather than using foam pads with a static position. This is not easy to show on a flat photograph !!

Thank you for visiting
