Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge No 24 - Make Your Mark

Hi, time for another Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge
Number 24 - Make Your Mark

I decided to use the Waltzingmouse Stamp Set "A Cottage Home"
Plenty of options for colouring in using my Spectrum Noir pens

The background is green spectrum noir pens and blue sky using cloud blue ink pad lightly dusted over with a Clarity Stamp stencil brush. The front door section has been cut out and raised up on foam pads, as are the two pots and topiary bushes. Finished with a sentiment from the set, "New Home", I just love how Waltzingmouse Stamps have such detail and variety in their choice of fonts for the sentiments.

Of course if you have a New Home card you will need a matching tag, to accompany your gift,

The tag was made using the smaller front door section of the stamp set, using the two pots and topiary bushes again mounted up on foam pads. Die cuts from Spellbinders.

Waltzingmouse Fanatics Colour Challenge No 23

Hi, time for another Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge.

Challenge Number 23 : A Colour Challenge.
This colour choice really set the "Tropical Beach" mood, Tara's card inspiration, and Deborah's using another of my favourite Waltzingmouse Stamps, the Folk Art Medallion are great.

I have been in Christmas Card mode, with so many Christmas Card samples around. I thought that I could add a twist for a Christmas Card destination in the Southern Hemisphere, where the days are high summer and Christmas can be celebrated at the beach. Using the colour choices and  Very Vintage Christmas Stamp Set, Festive Foliage and die cut and the Pinstripe background.

I feathered the pine leaves from sand to orange inks, brown pine cones and using the three shades of sea blue through the sentiment, Very Vintage Christmas Stamp and the Pinstripe background.

I did go on to make a second card, where I had to use the My Island set of stamps as they just seemed so perfect for the challenge. Again with a twist, I have stamped a scene adding a boat from another of my go to sets, Ocean Bound. The island in the backgound and the sunset colours have been made using 2nd generation stamping, to get a more distant appearance. I was thinking that this would make a great journal cover, where I could collect together holiday photographs.

Thank you for visiting and hope that you have enjoyed reading about my colour card challenge.
Do visit the Waltzingmouse Fanatics blog, entries in the challenge are still possible until Thursday.
